AdamsWells Internet Setup Sheet

Follow these simple instructions to setup your computer to access AdamsWells Internet.  If you have any questions regarding this setup, please contact us at (260) 565-3131 or (800) 917-7731 for support.

1.                   Click on the Apple Menu, select Control Panels, and click on Remote Access

2.                   Next to Name, type your username. (must be lower case)

3.                   Next to Password, type your password (must be lower case)

4.                   Type in one of the following telephone numbers in the Phone Number box:  DO NOT USE AREA CODE

353-1234                 Tocsin, Markle, Poneto/Petroleum, Keystone
824-6530                 Liberty Center
692-6203                 Preble, Berne, Decatur, Pleasant Mills, Monroe

469-6060                 Fort Wayne, Zanesville
*AdamsWells Internet is NOT Responsible for charges incurred from the use of incorrect dialup number.

5.                   Click on the box in the upper left corner to close this window.

 

6.                   Click on Apple Menu, select Control Panels, and click on TCP/IP.

 

7.                   Next to Connect via, select PPP.

 

8.                   Next to Configure, select Using PPP Server.

 

9.                   Click on the box in the upper left corner to close this window.

 

10.               Click on Apple Menu, select Control Panels, and click on Internet.

 

11.               Next to Name, type your name as you would like it to appear when others receive email from you.

 

12.               Next to Email Address, type your email address.

 

13.               Click on the Email Tab.

 

14.               Next to User Account ID, type your username (without the @adamswells.com).

 

15.               Next to Incoming Mail Server, type pop.adamswells.com

 

16.               Next to Password, type your password.

 

17.               Next to Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server, type smtp.adamswells.com

 

18.               Next to Default E-mail Application, select Outlook Express.

 

19.               Click on the box in the upper left corner to close this window.

 

20.               Restart your computer
